As I was still breastfeeding Morgan I assumed it was a blocked milk duct, but when it had grown rather than diminished over the next couple of weeks I made an appointment to see my GP. Your friends are all here for you, you know that, don't you? We don't need to always see a smiley face, sometimes it's ok to rant and rave too. [sings] That's what friends are for... [/sings]
It sounds like the next few weeks will be a bit of a roller-coaster but you are one of the bravest people I've ever had the privilege to me and if anyone can do this, it's you.
I live in Westcroft. I heard about your breast cancer diagnosis in the Resident's Newsletter. I had breast cancer diagnosed 3 years ago. I've had mastectomy, chemo and radiotherapy. If you would like a chat, I'd be more than happy to meet up with you. Be positive, don't let it conquer you. YOU WILL GET THROUGH IT. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Believe me, I've been there!
